I’ve told you from the start that I really care. I really care about making a positive difference to the lives of the people I will represent as District Councillor.

I know that if you listen to the national news or social media, you might think the word Tory meant something bad. If you’re one of those people who thinks it is, I truly look forward to impressing you and shattering that illusion.

I’ll shatter it with:

  • My strong work ethos
  • My good moral compass
  • My dedication to treating every person the same no matter Age, Race, Ability, Religion, Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, Marital Status, Child Status, etc
  • My will to bridge social divides
  • My commitment to focus time and energy to help vulnerable people
  • My drive to Make Measham more Family Friendly
  • My thoughtful balanced views

… all attributes others might have you believe aren’t compatible with Tory values. Let me assure you they are. I’m a Tory, and I Care.

Let me go a step further and say from personal experience, the Tory’s I’ve met in North West Leicestershire do too. Perhaps that’s why we are particularly good at what we do and why are British Record Breakers for having frozen our share of your Council Tax for the last 14 years and pledge to do so again for a 15th Year.

We care about hard working families, we care about community. We care about Measham North.

Making good decisions Economically is compatible with Caring for people. They aren’t Mutually Exclusive and in fact it’s actually a vital part of being competent. Wasting money with one decision means less money to spend on another one – and that other one might be a Social Service which helps a Vulnerable Person rebuild their life.

So I have to get this right. And I will.

I’m Paul Lees. I’m your Conservative Candidate for Measham North in the North West Leicestershire District Council Elections. I’m asking you to vote for a Tory on 4th May 2023. I’m a Tory, and We Care
